Narsamma : One who served the Mankind without Education

Did you ever heard of a person who has experience of more than 70 years in any job or profession .

It's very rare to find people like them.They are one in a million.
But here is a Lady called Narsamma who is serving MANKIND as a MIDWIFE for more than 70 years, without money ..
As a midwife she performed 15000+ deliveries free of charge.

She possessed special talent of checking BABYS PULSE in the womb and the position of the head and the body , and even she will predict baby's health appropriately.



Today NARSAMMA is 97 years serving as a midwife known as SULAGITTI in traditional language

She started it when she was 15 .This talent she received from her close relative.

She went uneducated because of service as a midwife
"Experience is the Ultimate Teacher "
This experience of her has given her PADMA SHRI award in 2018 ( one of the precious award )



Her first attempt was at 15 years where her first delivery was very critical and even doctors refused to solve the case .She solved it with her own hands and it gave a Balanced Base of her further operations.



The Interesting fact is that the baby she delivered when she was 15 is now 82 year old and Narsamma even delivered that 82 years old lady's grand daughter..
She even refused a Govt job to serve as a midwife.




The villagers around her have forgotten hospital in case of delivery because of Narsamma.
 
 
So she is great inspiration because of her service to Mankind..
Recognised as an example for Humanity, kindness and generosity..
